Terms of Use for Niyyah

Effective Date: March 2026

Welcome to Niyyah ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Niyyah application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Niyyah is an Islamic prayer companion application that provides prayer times, prayer tracking, Qibla direction, tasbih counter, learning content, and related features. The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.

2. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

a. Subscription Plans

Niyyah offers the following optional premium subscription plans:

  • Monthly: $1.99 USD per month
  • Yearly: $15.00 USD per year
  • Lifetime: $50.00 USD (one-time purchase)

Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

b. Auto-Renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID or Google Play account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

c. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of any free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

d. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Niyyah
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Niyyah

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

e. Tips (Donations)

The App also offers optional tip/donation purchases ($0.99 and $4.99). These are one-time, non-refundable, non-consumable purchases to support the development of the App.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (such as credit card numbers). All billing inquiries should be directed to Apple or Google.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose as an Islamic prayer companion. You shall not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Distribute or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices simultaneously

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software — are the property of Bungic Studios and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Islamic texts (Quran verses, hadith, duas) included in the App are from publicly available, authentic sources and are provided for educational and devotional purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's accuracy, reliability, or availability. Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical algorithms but may vary slightly from local mosque schedules.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bungic Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for distribution and billing
  • RevenueCat — for subscription management
  • Sentry — for crash reporting
  • Firebase Analytics — for anonymized usage analytics

10. Apple's Standard EULA

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Updates will be indicated by revising the "Effective Date" at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
